We are staying in a flat that is in my father-in-laws name and he passed away recently. My wife is the heir to this flat according to the will. How can I get it transferred to her name?

She can seek Letters of Adminsitration from a court of competent civil jurisdicition, if her father has died intestate i.e. without leaving any Will.
