We have a land in Mumbai which was registered on my grandmother's name. She passed away in 2007 and we transferred this property to our names even though she had two sons. My uncle has been staying in this property for 8 years now. He paid taxes for 7 years with the view that the property is transferred to the tax payer's son's name. Is this possible? Also, what can be done if this is true?
