I have a long narrow living room that is open to the dining room. I am going to redo. It is a sunken living room and the dining room is a step up. Architecturally, what suggestions do you have? Wider "walkway"? Build up floor in living room? Any separation for a "foyer"? Furniture arrangement? Too many questions? lol. Thank you.
